Formally, Chief Operation Officer for both NVPL-Sudan & NOPC-Scimitar Egypt/Pakistan assets. Graduated from “Faculty of Engineering for Petroleum & Mining, Suez Canal University” at 1979. Alaa holds Master degree in Petroleum Engineering from Al -Azhar University, 1992 and he is an active SPE member since 1986.
He started his career in drilling operation on 1981 for 37 years with Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company, Hughes Christensen, Qatar Petroleum, ZADCO-UAE, BP-Egypt, Centurion, NOPC-NVPL group since 2006 and recently with NPC-SAZ since 2014 to 2018 as a drilling manager. He has several publications in SPE reflecting his experience in different aspects of drilling operations.
